Welcome to the AMPBA Nationals

Welcome to the 2010 AMPBA Nationals, the flagship event of the Australian Model Power Boating Association. Conducted every year between April and May, this action packed event will showcase many of Australia's fastest nitro, petrol and electric competition boats, pitting driver against driver over 5 days of explosive racing.

Brisbane's premier model powerboat racing club, Brisbane Model Marine Inc is proud to bring the AMPBA Nationals back to Queensland for the first time in over nine years. In April 2010 the event will once again return to Boral Lakes, Lawnton, where it was last held in 2001.

The 2010 AMPBA Nationals will run from Sunday 18th - Sunday 25th April, including two official and one unofficial practice days. Competition is open to all classes Classes currently running at AMPBA sanctioned events and will consist of 5 rounds of oval racing held over 5 days. A buffet style luncheon under a marquee will be followed by the presentation of trophies at the conclusion of Sunday's racing.

• Saturday 24th April - Oval Racing Round 4
• Sunday 25th April - Oval Racing Round 5 & Presentation Luncheon
